"Gave a lower score for service because we had to wait over an hour for food and when it finally arrived, as it had been sitting under a heat lamp the pastry was rock hard and very difficult to cut into. The delay was blamed on a wedding taking place, sorry, thats not my problem, any possible delays to food should be communicated, so customers can choose to go elsewhere."
"The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery.
Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control."
"Parking was easy , the hotel was quiet, staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the bed was super comfy, pool was amazing "
"This hotel is just lovely. Beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. The bed was so comfy. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge and felt luxurious. Food in the restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. My only small gripe was that we did not have any openable windows in our room so it would have been nice to have aircon or at least a fan as it got a bit warm and it wasn't even that warm outside"
"Beautiful accomodation and accessibility. I really could not, or want to, be critical of anything with our stay. The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay."
