"Everything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experience"
"I had a wonderful 2 night stay here in September! Here are all the positives: 1. Spotless room and common areas. Comfortable bed. 2. Free parking. 3. Great on-site restaurant and bar. 4. Very close to Foxwoods (only about a 4 minute drive). 5. Close to Mystic CT (about a 20 minute drive). 6. Pleasant staff. 7. A safe area. Pretty too! 8. Reasonable price. When I come back to this area, I’ll definitely stay here again. "
"I greatly enjoyed my weekend getaway. Al was very professional and polite and even upgraded my room. It was very clean and I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It felt like staying at a relatives house. It is located in nature and I experienced being within a few feet of deers on the property, which was a beautiful sight. I will definetly be back."
