"The hotel is a short drive from downtown. The surrounding has several small plaza but it’s needed to drive there. The room and service is good. The breakfast choice is typical."

"It was a great property. Quite without a lot of light pollution even being so close to the casino. The room was clean, inviting, neat, and spacious. The tub, though not a deep soaking tub was a nice tub to soak in. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The shampoo/conditioner, body wash and lotion had a very pleasant smell. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful."

"Lovely place, sadly we only booked one night and arrived after dark , so didn't really have chance to use all the amenities, kayak's etc . The cabin we stayed in was lovely , and great communication from the staff ( Deb ) and recommendations for coffee & breakfast the following morning . Would stay again if in the area ."

"I spent the week here on a solo trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my time. The room was much bigger than I expected, the room I was assigned was facing the parking lot so I was able to literally see my car from my room (that made me so happy), breakfast was served every morning which I personally loved and the staff was so friendly and sweet. "Erin and Josh do a wonderful job and put a lot of love into their inn between the service, food, decor, cleanliness and personalization of their guest stay! Such a good find"

"Vom Zimmer war ich eigentlich enttäuscht. Bad war sehr alt und die Betten nicht gerade Hilton Style ."

"The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel was well maintained and clean. We look forward to staying at the Whalers Hotel again."

"Great place to get away"

"Stayed for one night on the way back from a wedding to visit some old haunts and the Inn did not disappoint. Lovely room, gorgeous house, great breakfast. Will definitely come back when we’re in town."

"The room I was checked in at had a lady bug infestation as well as other bugs (stink bugs, flies) to the point we asked for a different room Rooms definitely don’t look like the picture. They’re very old not kept up to par old microwaves some outlets were faulty was very disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay!"

"Gorgeous and quaint place to stay!"

"The history of the hotel is amazing, the cleanliness, not so much. Hairs on our sheets, sticky bathroom floor, rude staff members, inadequately supplied toiletries. Would never recommend anyone pay $400 for this. Better places with better customer service in the area."
