Top Durham Hotel Reviews
Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a family room which was very spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Really quiet and great location in the city. Did not eat or drink in hotel but the bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Overall a great place to stay."
Super 8 by Wyndham Durham
8/10 Good
"Very nice accommodation at Super 8 Durham. Modern decor, clean, warm and comfortable room. However, no cooked breakfast option available and I was disappointed by the request for credit card and personal details despite the fact this stay was all booked and paid for through Hotels.com. This practice is disturbing."
Malmaison Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"The most amazing weekend spent staying here. The room was absolutely beautiful! Could not of asked for more. The staff were all so welcome and nothing was too much. Would definitely stay here again, it felt like home away from home. It’s the first time I’ve felt truly comfortable staying somewhere. So thank you!"
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Newcastle
8/10 Good
"Good budget option. Small rooms with basic amenities but spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. More hangers would be better but perhaps you can get these if requested. A lot of noise in the rooms overlooking the street, to be expected due to central location. Reasonable value. Would stay again providing it was reasonable rate."
Dakota Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"Probably the best hotel in Newcastle; beautiful rooms, walk in shower and a tub if you want a soak. Quayside is a great location with entertainment options aplenty but we had a cocktail in the bar and dinner in the restaurant- very good white Russian and steak bearnaise plus arugula and parmesan salad which was perfection. Only choice for us when staying in Newcastle to visit family."
Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa
8/10 Good
"Visited on a weekend and there were so many different functions going on that it was too busy and noisy. Really not worth the money. Also room was cold and musty and there was mould on the back of curtains"
Hotel Indigo Durham by IHG
8/10 Good
"Some of the furniture in the room required repair, lighting was dim as no main light. Some light fittings were loose. The windows did not secure and we were on the lower ground floor, Aircon was pointed at the pillows on the bed which has your face and neck cold."
Leonardo Hotel Newcastle Quayside
8/10 Good
"I was allocated a disability room which had an automatic door which was annoying and the unsuite was also for disability so it did not feel comfortable and the room needs renovation especially the shower space."
Maldron Hotel Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"The whole experience staying at the hotel was very good."
