"Bit tired to be honest, grubby dust everywhere in the rooms and bathroom stains Breakfast average for the price, coffee awful, toast not toasted For the price really not worth it in my opinion, Rub Room restaurant was the highlight food was great decor was tired, staff at the restaurant were great"

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Slight mistake when checking in but this was resolved with no fuss. Hotel is excellently located and wonderful big rooms with plenty of character and no noise at all overnight."

"Well located hotel. Robert on reception was very helpful & knowledgeable. However, there were a number of things that annoyed me. No shower cap, no face washer, no rubbish bags in the bins. Different person's name on the welcome on the tv which couldn’t be changed. The bedding was uncomfortable, didn’t seem to fit very well. In the bar I tried to put my meal on my room but couldn’t because I hadn’t been asked for a credit card when I checked in. Was able to pay by cash even though on Expedia it said the hotel was cashless! "

"This was a last minute booking for myself my good lady and our dog.. The hotel supplied a dog bed and some doggy treats which was a nice touch. Parking was easy and very reasonable All in all a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, "
