Two days before we received a message by Whatsapp to tell us that there was no one at the reception after 5pm, and give us the procedure to follow to collect our keys and settle down. In the end, this establishment is a room in Airbnb... that's not what we wanted. So we went elsewhere, to a real hotel with people to welcome you and take care of you."

"Heel apart verblijf in nette niet al te grote maar kamer die groot genoeg is met comfortabel bed. De opvang en begeleiding is fantastisch. Er wordt een geweldig diner verzorgd en lekker ontbijt. Jammer dat af en toe aangekondigd de stroom uitvalt, maar daar kunnen de hoetelhouders ook niets aan doen."

"We only stayed a single night on the way to Johannesburg airport, but we enjoyed all of it. Wonderful room with fantastic views and a G/T on the terrace. Nice homecooked dinner and breakfast and overall just great service. We felt very welcome. Only downside was that the mosquitoes were as happy to see us as Holger and Norma. Glad this is not a malaria area. "

"Self catering unit, very clean, well speced and in lovely mountainous setting. A table would have been nice to eat my dinner, but as a new unit, I hope that will be quickly rectified. I will definitely stay again. (The orange I pinched from the orchard outside my room was the sweetest I have tasted in a long while) - (don't tell the owner!)"

"There is a braai in the unit (ie in the bedroom) that makes the room reek of smoke. Even opening all the windows didn’t help. Bedding was clean and comfortable but it is down feathers, which is not good for travelers with allergies to that and the smoke. The unit is central which is nice but it is extremely basic and overpriced "

"When my traveller arrived with the travel booking on hand he was informed that the Guesthouse was actually fully booked and they did not have a room available, but was very accommodating in finding him a last minute alternative accomodation but still very frustrating and I actually had to proof that they also had received payment "

"Very beautiful place in tranquil setting with all the needed goods in support. Place was clean and the fire places useful with the cold night. Like the baths in the bathroom making for a very romantic get away and setting"

"Wonderful setting I must say! And the venue was well laid out with its ponds, etc. The rooms were drab, dark, old and small - it felt very crammed with all the furniture in it. There was a small fridge in the room, which was great, but there was no bottled water in the room and we had been told not to drink the tap water. The bathroom especially, was very poor - it had cracked tiles in the shower and weak water pressure, no shelves for toiletries, and the cistern took forever to fill up. We...
