Great location, large room but lots of old stuff in it. Need to bring your own detergent, soap, shampoo... It's hard to get in touch with the host or owner.

Kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed. Doors opening and closing were a little loud when other guests were coming and going. On day 2, there was no power but the host came quickly to rectify this. The following day, we noticed that the toilet paper was almost out (7 people staying that evening). We notified the host but received no response. The next morning there was no toilet paper at all the the kitchen garbage can was overflowing. We suggest that the cleaning person come more frequently to meet the guests needs. On a positive note, this is a very well located place with all the amenities you need nearby.

Beautiful

Beautiful little property in a great location just outside the old town walls, so great for seeing all the sights. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to fellow travellers.

Terrible experience! Very hard to check in because they key wasn’t on the lock box. Thankfully there was a local woman who helped me call the property number, but even then I still need to wait more than 40minutes before someone responded. The place itself is very old with no sound proofing so during my stay for few days I didn’t get good sleep as the people who stayed upstairs were very noisy, maybe children kept on jumping back and forth. Also only one shower that you have to share with 8 people and once someone took hot shower then good luck for the next person because you must take cold shower.

This is a nicely decorated apartment located a few minutes walk from Pile Gate, which is amazingly convenient. The apartment has most things I needed, including a teapot and kettle, and a washing machine for laundry. There are four rooms sharing one common kitchen space (with one sink and two electric hobs plus microwave). I was there alone when a family of four arrived to stay in another room. The two other rooms, which could have accommodated at least another four people were empty. It was crowded, so I stayed mostly in my room. One shower for up to eight adults might be tricky in the summer, but it was not a problem in cool mid-April. The bus from the bus depot/ferry terminal is very close. There were no smoke alarms as far as I could tell. The wifi was pretty good but went off from time to time. Some of the electric outlets need repairing. The shutters do not close so if you are light sensitive, you will need eye shades. If you want to do grocery shopping you will need to plan carefully as there is nothing significant and affordable in the area.

It was clean throughout my stay. Although I don’t know why other guest leave their dirty dishes for the cleaner? There is washing up liquid there. Location is fantastic. The lock on my door wasn’t the easiest and the toilet door needs a little oil. Found it easy to find and get into. Had no problems with noise. Will stay again

Basically it was mis advertised. I believed from the ad that it would be an appartment with private bathroom and food preparation facilities. Just before I got there I was told that the bathroom was shared. ( The ktchen was not mentioned) For me the shared bathroomn is an absolute NO but it was too late to cancel. The other people who were staying there at the same time said that they had been upset about it too. My room was a disgrace, very shabby furniture, peeling veneer, with the wardrobe door tied shut with ribbon and a notice not to open it. There was a baby bath on top. There was 1 hard kitchen chair in the room so there was nowhere to sit and relax or write or indeed to put my things. The bathroom was untidy, smetimes dirty, full of laundry. The kitchen too was heaped with laundry, dirty washing up and piles of papers. There was 1 easy chair, the hard chairs and the table were an uncomfortable mismatch in height. I have photos of all these issues. When I mentioned them to the young woman she became aggressive and unpleasant but she did make an effort to tidy up. The problem comes with the advertising and absolutely with the price. She is asking small personal use flat price, for what in effect is poor hostel or student accommodation both of which are cleaner, more sociable with much better facilities. ( I have in the past stayed in both, and was a student landlord for over 20 years) I would like a refund of 50% of the price that I paid in expectstion of a flat

Horror de check in.

The reason why I didn't give a better qualification it's because of the noise. You don't have privacy. You here everything and people don't respect the rules. Other guests were listening loud music untill late at night, talking loud and acting at two in the morning as it was like midday. That's not the owner's fault but rules should be clear to everyone. Respect it's the key. The other thing was the toilet. Everytime you flush the toilet or tap water starts running it makes a high sound. It sounded like a trumpet. And that's not funny when you try to sleep and people are going to the toilet late at night. I know it can be fixed. The owner was kind, the rooms were clean and just four minutes walking to the old City.

This is a lovely little guest house right next to the old town. It's literally a few steps away. As such, the room I had had a great view over the sea, the castle and the city walls, while being sound proof so that the traffic and sound of the tourists couldn't be noticed. The room was comfortable, with a good bed, enough power outlets and it was clean. Shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet) were sufficient for the three rooms and definitely clean as well. I'm pretty sure the owner loves purple and loved to put a feminine touch on the interior design. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the host. I just found an unlocked door and a note to my room, and two other guests, but I haven't seen anyone during the days (probably because I was out exploring Dubrovnik). Perhaps we meet a next time, because if I have a chance to get back to this city, I'll definitely look for availability here.

Accommodation not signed. No instructions given on how to enter. Junk at front entrance. Room was kids room. No garbage in room. No Kleenex. Only a thin bed sheet for a blanket. Washroom not cleaned the entire time, even tho it was a shared washroom with around 6 people using it daily. Lots of improvements to be made.
