For the money i would have thought the hotel would be cleaner, have wash clothes and soap in the dispensers. And the last day we were there the elevator wuit working.

Would stay again
Good value for money and in a good location. Room was comfortable and clean. Easy to check in and check out would stay there again.

Ikke som billederne. Men alt ok.
Kort shopping tur med min mor og datter. Vi var ærligt lidt skuffede over hotellet, men kun fordi vi havde troet at det var større og mere hotel agtigt. Syntes ikke de billeder vi havde set var som virkeligheden. Men alligevel havde vi et super ophold. Der var fint rent og beliggenheden var i top.

great location, clean and comfortable
Comfortable and close to everything we wanted to see. Great pub food and service right beside the hotel! Sadly neither tv nor phone worked, but reception staff helped when we needed to call.

The location was amazing! It was right in the center of Dublin but yet was so quiet!

Dissapointed Price and Rooms Don't Match
Quite expensive for this older property that was under renovations. I was debating staying here or Holiday Inn Express and decided to go with a "boutique hotel." Was originally given a tiny room for $135.00 with the heater stuck on high. Room was big enough for a double bed and that was it. I asked to see about turning it the heater off but wasn't an option. Was then moved to another room and happened to be a larger room with a door that opened to the outside. I think anyone using Hotels.com gets screwed over on rooms after seeing what we could have been given and wasn't from the start.

Where else would they iron your shirt for you?
All staff great and helpful. Even got my shirt ironed for me. Rooms are basic and TV complicated (to turn on or off mostly). Beds clean. Just basic but would stay again for the value.

Was not happy that I could not get a drink even though i was booked in for the night and the bar man told me that the bar was closed so i had to go out for a pint so yes I am not happy with the service from the hotel.

Lovely staff and great room.
The room was quite spacious and very clean. The bed was also much larger than I expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again. Can’t find any faults.

Dreadful Hotel....No hot water at Abbey Hotel..
No hot water to have a shower in the morning. We complained and the girl at the reception said These thnigs happen... Cus they were workmen doing work. Well that is not our problem... They should be Closed.. And not take our 109 euros from us.... She did not evenggive us any money back... Mad!!!!!!!!!!!! We will not be returning or recommending this hotel... And you should not be recommending it to anyone. Its a disgrace...... Taking our money and no Hot water to wash. Also the restaurant and bar closed when we arrived around 8.30😡😡😡😡😡

Unclean and not a nice place to stay
The hotel is not clean, the walls were scuffed and dirty from spills, we found hair on the bedding. We stayed two nights not consecutively so we had two different rooms and neither was nice. The first room had a broken toilet seat and the toilet did not flush well. The shower had the worst water pressure I have ever encountered. The second room was slightly nicer but it was still just okay. This was the room with spills on the wall. The toilet in this room also did not flush well. The hotel was also very warm and we had to open windows while we slept but it is in a very loud neighborhood. The bar below was closed for renovations at the time of our stay so I imagine it is normally even louder. I would not recommend staying here. I wish we had spent a little more to find a place to stay that didn’t seem so dirty.

Good for a night
Our room was nice but we weren’t aware the place was under construction. We arrived at night and there was an interesting night crowd out and was glad to have arrived with family and not on a solo trip. The staff was friendly and helpful to provide local tips and arrange for a taxi to the airport. Good for a one night stay and central location in Dublin.

The staff go above and beyond. I am from Florida and I freeze. The first night I stayed there I just couldn’t get warm and I went down to ask the staff if they could turn up the heat in my room. The staff were unable to get a hold of someone to turn up the heat so they brought me a portable heater. They were so kind and helpful. I recommend anyone to stay and I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was really good as well.

C'è da migliorare!!!!
Pulizia molto deludente,quasi inesistente.Il bagno è stato sistemato quotidianamente in modo molto superficiale.Non esiste un posto dove soggiornare per un'attesa breve.Lavori in corso al piano terra e assenza di un hall.Posto centralissimo,personale della reception disponibile.

Good location
Room was small but comfortable. Check in seemed very disorganized. Ringing a bell to get in wasn't ideal.... they need a better system. Perhaps a pin code for guests? We waited outside one evening unsure if anyone was hearing the bell then the staff was very sharp with us for ringing more than once! Standing outside in a strange city and unable to get into your hotel is not ideal. Location was good for exploring on foot.

Hotelværelset bar præg af slitage og så var der koldt. Da vi henvendte os til personalet angående vores kolde værelse, fik vi blot at vide, at varmen ikke ville blive tændt, da der var et større renoveringsarbejde i gang i pubben stuen. Dette blev vi ikke informeret om, da vi tjekkede ind. Desuden virkede vores toilet ikke, og da vi henvendte os omkring dette, blev vi mødt med uforståenhed, da medarbejderen blot spurgte, om vi havde prøvet at skylle ud på forskellige måder. Vi fik dog e vvs'er tilsendt, hvor det virkede nogenlunde. Hotellet ligger dog dejligt centralt, som er også meget lydt. Morgenmaden var ligeså skuffende og kedelig.

Hidden gem
Doesn't look like much from the outside but the room was spacious, staff very helpful and polite and a simple continental breakfast was included. The location couldn't be better. Hotel was under renovation but I wasn't disturbed by noise. The receptionist let me stay in the room an extra hour and stored my bag due to my late flight. Will definitely stay again.

Freaking horrible experience. Everything is being renovated or under construction. Their hotel is NOTHING like the pictures, and what little space they offer is dingy/dirty and smells like ass. I tried to back out of my reservation at check-in because of the obvious discrepancies between the actual quality versus what they advertised online, but they weren’t having it. I left anyways and they kept my money. ***DON’T GO HERE!!!**

Vi ventet en nyoppusset bar og resepsjon, slik de omtaler det på Expedia sine sider. Det gjorde vi IKKE!! Førsteinntrykket var helt forferdelig. Stengt bar, knust vindu, shabby dør og inngangsparti. Resepsjon var en dør med lem. Lite komfortabelt for de ansatte også vil vi tro. Tross dette var det et hyggelig personale. Vi fryktet rommene, men disse var noe bedre faktisk. Veldig gode senger, og det var stille og rolig der. Vi forventet oss ikke et slott til den prisen vi betalte, men omtalen sier noe helt annet enn det vi fikk. Alt blir sikkert bedre når baren er ferdig oppusset og resepsjonen forhåpentligvis flyttes tilbake dit. Beliggenheten er helt perfekt.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep!!
Felt more like a hostel. Convenient location, staff friendly and beds were clean and comfy. Unfortunately after this, can't say many positive things. Not sure how it is rated 3-star, Google's rating of 2-star is far more accurate. Arrived quite late, took half an hour to get in the room because they couldn't get a key card that worked. Listing states it's great for families but it happens to be right next to a nightclub with no soundproofing so there was extremely loud music, vibrations and screaming until around 4am. Window didn't close properly either. Bathroom mostly clean but toilet had not been cleaned properly from the previous stay and had various dried stains! Listing states TV with cable channels, we had a TV that wasn't connected to anything or work. Breakfast was extremely disappointing, nothing more than packets of cereal, a loaf of bread and packet cheese. Was meant to stay 2 nights but ended up checking out and paying for another hotel for the second night. Has definitely made me research more thoroughly before booking hotels and not just go on pictures and the listing description! Overpriced for what it is. Would only recommend it if you are a serious heavy sleeper or just looking for a place to crash after partying all night. Extremely disappointed.

Location and price are great
Location was perfect and so was the price. Biggest downfall was the lack of water pressure in the shower. There was almost zero pressure. Hotel was under renos for the Adelphi so we missed out on that but overall would stay here again.
