"We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the hotel. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar has a relaxing vibe. Our room as allways was very spacious and comfortable . The shower is great. Free parking is also a bonus."

"We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het Royal Lion Hotel. De ligging is geweldig; pal aan zee. Onze kamer bood schitterend uitzicht. De kamer was schoon, de check-in vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed. Ons was bekend dat het gebouw gerenoveerd wordt, we zijn benieuwd hoe het eruit komt te zien! Het gebouw heeft met zijn hoge plafonds en mooie ornamenten veel potentie."

"It is a very unique property with nice walking trails and gardens. Overall it wasn’t kept up well and needs a face lift and grounds keeper outside. Rooms were nice with comfortable bed and good shower. Unfortunately it is far from everything and the restaurant and bar were not open Monday night so had to drive back into town. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very nice. No air conditioning but the fan in the room was nice. "

"Myself and my partner had the most wonderful stay, it’s nice and rural but not too far anyway from anything. The property is modern but feels country, it’s really smart. All of the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! We will definitely being going back, thank you so much.. "

"Our stay at the Townhouse was perfect. Huw was friendly and always checking in to make sure we were ok. We were in room 4 which was nice, plenty of room and a nice view out to sea from the comfy leather chair. "Lovely welcome from the receptionist. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Room was large and very clean. Tea making facilities in the room and hair dryer. Large bathroom with bath and shower overhead. Only one bath towel, understandable for a single but two would have been better for a couple. Bed very comfortable. Bar and breakfast areas were very clean and well laid out. Did not have an evening meal, but breakfast was excellent. Would dry recommend and visit again."
