"Evelyn was a gracious hostess at the Village Inn & Pub. She made us feel welcome and we had a lovely stay there. Our room was clean, well appointed and private. We had a cozy balcony overlooking the pool and garden. There was a lovely dressing area/work space, a fridge, coffee maker, and cocktails. It was a great location with walking access to shops, restaurants, park, and pier. We would stay here again."

"The room was clean and comfortable"

"The staff and the room size were fantastic. What needed improvement was breakfast it was cold and not a very good selection."

"Loved the heated pool. Staff at hotel and restaurant were top notch. Food at Echo was delicious. The walk to beach was a little odd, not direct, but I suppose you can't help the dunes/tidal pools. The rooms are nice. However they did not have coffee pots. Staff said it was because of remodeling which seems silly. It was too inconvenient to get to lobby where it was available for sale."

"Nice staff, great location across from lighthouse. Property is going through a renovation. Its a nice property, just know its going through updates. I was not made aware when I booked."

"Never ever go on the weekend UGA plays Florida. Horrible. The smell of weed would make a dead man high. Thin walls. The view from the balcony was of the back of buildings. Only one roll of toilet paper… and it was not a full roll. The elevator was out of order on the day of check out. It was awful trying to get all my things down several flights of stairs… several times up and down. How was I alerted to the elevator situation? A hand written sign on printer paper taped to the elevator...

"Hallway carpet needs replacing. Had a bit of an odor. Overall our fav place to stay on island, though."

"Very private and convenient."

"Ice machine broken. Room was great, spacious and breakfast was really good"

"The room was clean, but the property needed updating. Breakfast was make your own waffles, muffins, and yogurt, coffee, and juices, no proteins."

"Amy baking cookies when we came in to check in was a nice warming touch!!!"

"Beautifully done resort directly on the beach. Rooms are lovely and the hotel is serene. Located directly in Jekyll Island’s charming downtown area close to restaurants, the Jekyll Island market and the bike path. We loved our time there!"
