Property was good location, across street from beach. Unfortunately it was very plain and dated. Floor electrical outlet in middle of living room was terrible tripping hazard. Unit and complex should and could be special. Needs updating and fresh coat of paint. Also, does not have an oven. Not ideal for longer stays. Either install or add air fryer.

Our room was beautiful and super clean. The balcony had a great view. Our code did not work when we arrived. Management was very responsive and resolved the issue immediately. This is our new favorite place to stay on SSI!

This was our 2nd stay, and it won't be the last. Great value for the price. Easy check-in and good communication. Spacious, clean and a comfortable bed. Lots of room for 2 people to spread out and a great balcony with an ocean view. Easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. We will be back!

33 years ago, my wife and I honeymooned on St. Simon's Island, and we stayed at Sea Gate Inn. After all this time, we decided to return, and we were pleasantly surprised by the changes. I really enjoyed the accommodations, and the peacefulness associated with Sea Gate Inn. We will return very soon, and we agreed that Sea Gate Inn will be our home away from home.

Had a very splendid stay! The villa is beautiful, very spacious, and the furnishings were comfortable. The balcony was nice for our morning coffee. Loved that the shower and the tub was separated; and it had a water closet as well. Getting to the parking was a little different but not hard. Communication was excellent. We will be back….Soon!!

I like that the property was nice and quaint,but I didn't like that it wasn't right on the beach! And the beach wasn't bad but it wasn't a view that I'm use to seeing!
