"Friendly, welcoming staff; breakfast was basic, but good. Convenient location to catch free bus 3 or 33 to the local sites, main town strip, Pikes Peak Cog Rail station, Garden of the Gods. A few eating places easily in walking distance or more reachable via the free buses 3 or 33. We didn’t try the outdoor pool, but saw a few people enjoying it. One thing that we would have desired, but was not available, would be permission to use the breakfast seating area to socialize and play cards or other games during the evenings."
