Where to start..
The Conrad cancelled our booking with 36 hours notice with no explanation or compensation.
Disgraceful customer service
The Conrad then offered us a room at their sister hotel (Bai di Chia) but at a rate that was £1000 more expensive than i could secure myself directly....
A move that further added insult. - All very stressful...
Flights had been booked independently so we had no option but to persist and fly to Sardinia as originally planned..
We elected to stay at the Baia di Chia begrudgingly.
Upon arrival we could not check in until gone 5pm as rooms were not ready.
The room we were given was small and in need of refurbishment.
Bathroom facilities were very dated and the installation of the shower door problematic
The shower flooded both the bathroom and bedroom within 2 minutes of use - This took me an eternity to clean up and make safe after the fact.
We were then moved to another room.
