"We stayed in the cottage Alouette a Brand new converted barn, and for a family of 4 there was ample room. The owner Natalhie was really welcoming and even gave us a tour of the wine cave and an opportunity to sample their produce, a really special stay.

"The room had double aspect windows. It was spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. Extra bedding was provided. There was a hairdryer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel didn't have a restaurant for evening meals. It had a bar. The breakfast included bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, croissants, etc. The only thing which would have improved our stay would be to have a sign for the hotel at the end of the street. It was awkward...

"We stayed one night to break a journey and to have a look at Nantes. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, it's a short walk to the old part of the city with its bars and restaurants. We chose La Mangouste, which was great. There's a supermarket and bakery around the corner and parking at the hotel for a cost. Would recommend it."
