"The place is great for a retreat. The lodges are spaceful, with air and view, very unique. In addition, I especially enjoyed the service from the Manager Martin: I had told him I was arriving late and couple sandwiches were waiting at my room so that I wouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach. And I asked him to organize for me a fishing party which he did fantastically and for a very reasonable price. I went early morning an hour out from the coast fishing Tuna with good and experienced guys....

"Very welcoming and friendly staff; restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The property is kept very clean and well staffed. If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ycona resort in Zanzibar. From the moment we entered the resort the workers made us feel like we were at home. They allowed us to have an early check in after our morning flight. We stayed in the beach villa, which was absolutely magnificent. Private pool, great views of the ocean, and a rooftop tub as well.
