"Great location, wonderful friendly staff, comfy beds, plenty of parking and great breakfasts. Only downside was the height of the bathroom ceiling, but we were in the loft space with a great view of the river."
"Decent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!"

We could not make the checkin time of 7pm and called ahead to say we would be there at 9.30pm which was no issue at all.
Susan provided us qith some plates for a takeaway that we had that night.

"This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place...

"We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....
