The reception is wonderful and friendly as well as all othe management and staff. Hotel is VERY clean and quiet. Definitely recommend this property. Parking is plenty and they do have a shuttle if you need.

The reception is wonderful and so friendly. The rooms and hotel is Very clean. It is quiet around the hotel property. Parking is plentiful, management and staff are doing a very good job and are friendly. My stay has been nice and peaceful. They do offer breakfast but it is not free with reservation, it is more of a restaurant vibe but it always smells good and the dinning area is nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It is older but very well kept and reasonably priced

Hotel was just right for an overnight stay after a 500 mile drive and then an outbound flight at DTW early next morning. Shuttle was very clean and efficient to get me to McNamara terminal. If you don’t need ‘bells and whistles ‘ it’s a great deal.

I liked the breakfast menu and the bed was comfortable. Staff was courteous. Unfortunately, the toilet paper dispenser was broken, there was a spider in the tub, and I woke up in the middle of a night to a guest knocking in my door and claiming it was her room. I told her it was the wrong room number.

Very clean stay I stayed in the king non-smoking room and was a very reasonable price. Also seems like it was newly renewed and walking distance to various restaurants and gas station. Also a shuttle to the airport!

The Lovely woman that has been checking me in and taking care of extending my reservation is so nice and I enjoy talking with her and fishy helper Rocky. I opted for a queen bed, so cozy and comfortable, No complaints! If I had the King I might just stay in bed all day . As for the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was and quiet. For a hotel of 2 or 3 stars and basic accommodations I was very happy with the cleanliness of my room and the rest of the hotel. For ppl looking for a shuttle I noticed they always have one getting ready to go. This place also as a of times pasted charm to it. All and all very satisfied

Room was fine. Very clean. My big gripe is that they charge $15 for breakfast even though the website says that a continental breakfast is free. Very upset that I had to pay for a buffet breakfast when I should have had a free breakfast.

No frills hotel, don’t expect anything fancy, but the rooms were relatively clean and well appointed. I am not sure if it was just our room, or the property in general, but the toilet was very slow. There are a few quick eat options near the hotel. For a place to sleep before an early flight it did the trick.

We were there while the staff had their Christmas party and they were nice enough to invite us. We didn’t attend because we had other responsibilities but thought it was a nice gesture anyway. The room was quiet and comfortable. And the food from the on site restaurant was reasonably priced and very tasty.

Close to DTW

The Clarion Hotel is close to DTW which is a benefit for next day connecting flights. The beds are very comfortable and the maintenance of the facility is good.

One glitch

The price was right, it was nice that it has a grill and bar on the site, and a convenience store very close. Clean and friendly. Only trouble is their policy not to give people who use Hotels.com or other online reservation the free breakfast. The guy at the desk waived the policy for me, but I think it’s a bad policy that could give them less than perfect reviews.
