Check-in: This is the first time I have stayed at a mid-range or higher hotel over the course of traveling for over 20 years and at check-in they say they need to charge 5% extra for using a credit card. Not too many people carry the cash around to pay for their hotel rooms, especially multiple rooms/nights, and by far the majority of hotels absorb...

The staff were all lovely and helpful, they let us check-in very early on short notice and held our bags on the last day to let us explore Cusco one last day before our bus. The location is quite a ways out of the historic centre but there is a great local market with a lot of dining options nearby. "
