"I must recommend Emily the lady on duty when we arrived late on the 3rd Sept. She was a friendly face meeting a tired traveller, welcoming and competent. "

"This hotel is just lovely. Beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. The bed was so comfy. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge and felt luxurious. Food in the restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. My only small gripe was that we did not have any openable windows in our room so it would have been nice to have aircon or at least a fan as it got a bit warm and it wasn't even that warm outside"

"For being close to an A road, was lovely and quiet and the curtains in the room really made the room dark when sleeping. Wasn’t the normal constant banging of other hotel doors shutting all night either, nice and quiet "

"This is self check in place and I didn’t know that as on my email about check in details it was answered with guess house names. So had really big problem finding place then arrived with no code for key safe box. Place overall was mess full of cabin crew yungsters partying, fair enough they were helpful as they contacted landlord so I got a room key. I received email with check in details next day…"

"I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials. "
