"A safe place for the solo travelers hands down….I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Morgan Resort in St. Maarten. From the quick and easy check-in to the convenient location near both the beach and the maho strip, everything was seamless. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, from the front desk and housekeeping to the team out front. "Pros- close drive to the airport, GREAT island and BEAUTIFUL water. The beach was amazing. We did not go during the busy season, so we were always able to get cabana or chairs on the beach where we wanted. The beach service was a nice touch too, although we didn't really figure it out until the last day of our trip. Food was really good (limited gluten free options). "My stay at Mary's Boon was ok.
I do not like dogs and so the presence of the dogs was not pleasant for me. The resort itself is nice but I did not like the access road to it.
The staff was generally pleasant and helpful. They arranged a taxi pick-up to take me to the airport upon request. The place is just a few steps away from the beach and just a few minutes from the airport. You can literally watch and hear the planes take off.
My room which was downstairs was comfortable but sandy....

"The elevator was out of service claiming 2 set of stairs with suitcases not fun
Ac took to long to cool room .. room was hot when we checked in . try use phone inside room to call front desk phone is not working had to walk back down 2 set of stairs just for a extra towel"
