"We were very pleased about the property. One concern the ice machine, on the floor near the lobby, was not working. The agent at the front desk was okay. Had some answers to our questions but others nothing. Example: The TV was not working. He offered to move us but we were settled in. He then gave us the password and when used it the TV worked fine. It isn't quite perfect because the new owners are revitalizing a motel that, a few years ago, would have been unthinkable to stay in. But these new owners have worked extremely hard to provide an affordable service without sacrificing comfort. "The house and deck had gorgeous views of the river and mountains. It was peaceful and relaxing. Donna, the owner, was very accommodating, sociable and offered us access to the entire home with use of the kitchen, fireplace, outdoor fire pit and outside deck areas. Breakfast was also excellent! We higjly recommend this BandB and will look to visit again in the fall. "

"My sister & I stayed here for 4 nights. It was just the reset we needed! The place was darling & exactly as pictured. Just perfect for us. Had a little bit of difficulty getting up the last bit of the road to the driveway but a neighbor said to go faster & that did the trick (first time I did any type of rough driving in my Subaru). We went to the Luray caverns & some other local spots. We also spent a day just chilling at the cabin. It was exactly what we needed & we plan to go back!!!!...
