"Good room for the price. Pretty clean, bed nice, staff was nice. Complaints: window needs curtains to help block sun out bc there was lots of light coming in the morning with just the shade & no blanket or pillows for pull out couch. Front desk did give me a blanket and another blanket for a pillow bc they were out. Lol. I asked if they had empty rooms & if i could get pillow from there and they said not allowed to do that. "

"I was pleasantly surprised about the North Star Inn. Very clean!!! Don’t miss this little inn it is worth staying at. We didn’t want a commercial hotel and were looking for something clean and simple. This was perfect!! Thank you North Star Inn for a very comfortable cozy stay."

"Really liked that they refreshed towels daily but after a week they still hadn’t changed the linens. It took two days of asking to get the sheets changed on day 9 of our stay. I also wish they had wiped down surfaces in the room a few times. "

"Great location but room needs some tlc. Smears all over door, both mirrors were dirty. Floorboards don’t join to the wall so gaps. AC so loud couldn’t have it on and sleep"

"Spacious and clean room, newer facility, friendly check-in staff, convenient location close to Georgetown. Breakfast was so-so, workout room had free weights, but cardio was limited and elliptical was broken. Manager was very helpful with a booking issue. All in all, we can recommend this MainStay and would stay here again."
