"This hotel is clean, quiet and centrally located. We were here for a camp at UCSB and the hotel is about 5-7 minutes away. It is 10 minutes to the beach and 15 to State St. The drive is very convenient and the freeway is right next to the hotel, which makes getting around a breeze. Definitely recommend if you need something priced right and easily accessible. "

"For a Motel 6 (the first ever, apparently), this one can't be beat! The location is ideal and it's clearly been recently renovated and is quite nice. We were on the ground floor with peek-a-boo ocean view (2nd floor would be ideal), but it was quiet, super comfy bed, really nice shower. No complaints! "

"This was our first time staying in Santa Barbara, and Best Western Plus Pepper Tree Inn stood out the most to us for its great location, reasonable price, and dog-friendly policy. It was easy to find, with plenty of on-site parking, and close to shops (Target) and restaurants within walkable distance. The hotel had a nice grassy area for the dogs and was also pretty quiet. "Very nice hotel and excellent location. Happy hour was really nice, and pool was the cleanest and most refreshing I've seen. Lovely! Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was just standard American hotel--lots of mediocre food. Sometimes I wish these hotels would just contract with a local bakery to offer coffee, fruit, and some high quality baked good rather than loads of mediocre food. "
