The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Palm Beach is ideal for families with kids or couples looking for a quieter option on Koh Rong away from the party hotspots, while also still offering cheap drinks and music for those seeking a laid back beach vibe. Scooter rentals are available right from the property so although it is further removed from other areas of the island, it is easy to get anywhere you’d like to explore. The food was amazing, and great mix of European and Khmer...

From arriving to the exclusive private ferry port I was greeted by an amazing view of several islands as I awaited for our private boat to whisk away on a 10 minute boat ride to our own private Gilligan’s island retreat called Krabey. Upon arriving we were greeted by the warmest staff and offered a ceremonial watering…. From there on we were given a thorough tour of the Island and its amenities which quite literally will sweep you off your feet…....

"My stay was great here and I wanted to write a review because Phally really went out of the way to help take me to a secluded spot at night in order for me to swim with the glowing plankton, providing me with a snorkeling mask as well and waited until I was done to walk me back. The dome I stayed in was very clean and cute and breakfast was delicious as well. The shuttle to and from the ferry was also quick and efficient. Highly recommend for anyone who comes to Koh Rong Samloem."
