"Beautiful old village in the gorgeous alps near around Mont Blanc. Beautiful drive up the winding roads. Clean, quiet, lovely friendly staff, easy free parking, in the town of St.-Germain-Les-Bains. The room was huge and had a nice balcony we could look out over another village down in the valley. We did not take the breakfast but it looked nice. We drove 20" to Chamonix to take the gondola (telepherique). Totally worth the ticket price to go to the top! Astonishing beauty and history....

We stayed for 3 nights with our daughter and loved the fact that she had an actual bed to sleep in, not pull out sofa so that was a big plus. We had a nice balcony, room was small but very clean and cozy with great bedding and towels. I loved that our hallway had tea corner with mugs and kettle to boil water. Breakfast was light but good with indoor and outdoor seating, wish there were more fresh fruits and veggies. Overall this hotel...

"Cannot recommend. Very stuffy hot room overlooking a carpark. No air conditioning so slept with noisy fan. Horrible dirty walls with lots of quashed mosquitoes from previous guests. Beds uncomfortable with low quality pillows, plastic under sheets and empty toiletries in bathroom. Avoid - much better places in the area."

This is one of our favorite places for a trip in the mountains and very well located to visit many other beautiful places nearby within driving distance.
