"5 star prices for 3 star accommodation. Definitely would have been a lovely place to stay 20 years ago and by the look of the renovations will probably be nice again in a few years. However, for over $400 a night for a fairly basic room, the quality does not match the price tag. Most of the staff (not all) were nice enough but a few weren't particularly friendly. The bloke running the bar seemed to hate his job more and more every time I saw him there. There was also a woman I spoke to on the...

"Amazing clean room and great location"

"I booked a queen room that had an image with a beautiful big open window with a view, large, well dressed room. When I checked in and arrived to my room I was shocked to see a little dungeon with dirty floors (bad enough we had to keep our shoes on at all times) rotten skirting boards, half empty soft drink in the fridge and rubbish in the bins; the bed was also just two singles pushed together not a queen. "The cabin was clean & comfortable and the grounds were well maintained. The office staff were helpful & pleasant. We enjoyed our stay."

"We did a last minute check for accommodation in Noosa and found a great deal for 2 nights. Helpful and friendly staff, great room over looking the beach + a very modern and clean apartment."

"Great location! Great staff, so happy we stayed here"

"Easy parking, easy communication with the staff, clean room, nice balcony, overall very nice experience 👌"

"Great spot handy for all local amenities. Room was good"

It would be much easier to prep/ heat up some food. But I do understand the concern about fire safety. Bathroom has a great size comparing with bedroom. Very nice and clean. When there are visitors upstairs, it could get quite noisy. No insulation so we could hear all the footsteps and talking. Many...

"The location of the Beach retreat is fantastic. Beach and surf club are across the road and fantastic places to eat are next door. We loved it."

"Great facilities and areas, walking distance to river and activities etc. rooms were decent and spacious. Easy check in process"
