Room was lovely and spacious, very comfortable bed. I found that the staff on the front desk ignored me a couple of times when I wanted to ask something, they were not with other customers at the time. They were talking to each other, I waited a while and then gave up. Unfortunately when we stayed there was lots of building work going on and it was very noisy and not very relaxing. I felt that there should be a discount on the price of the room because of this or maybe a complimentary breakfast.

The staffs are friendly and nice. The hotel is quite old and I feel that the ventilation system has not been checked for a while. I notice that the inside of the electric kettle was partly rusty. Based on the rate, I feel that it is a bit expensive

The service was excellent. Very pleased with unexpected bonus of bubbles on arrival and a free upgrade. Everything was well managed and made for such an easy and enjoyable weekend getaway. Lovely pool and so close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely return.

The service was excellent and foyer area ran with such high standard. The rooms however have not been updated since perhaps the 90's, decor and coverings very dated and tired. very musty smelling, we had to constantly have our balcony door open for smell.

Notification from wotif that booking could not be fulfilled (in spite of having received confirmation from the hotel) and subsequent attempts to resolve this with Sofitel left me feeling very anxious. Multiple unanswered phone calls did not fill me with confidence. Spoilt the experience for me.

Great but needs updating

Fantastic location, lovely staff and nice touches eg lavender spray for pillow. Air con worked beautifully, bed comfy and shower nice and strong. The hotel is old and dated though and very much in need of an update. On Sunday evening we were woken up to clubbing music nearby, it went from about 10pm to midnight. So maybe a bit better soundproofing would be nice, or it could be just where we were located.
