"Booked this for the Zach Bryan concert as it was close, everything was as expected for just a room for the night. Only one thing I would say, the hotel put food on for returning concert guests, £9 for half a pizza is outrageous apart from that everything was as expected."

"Had a lovely balcony room overlooking Grassmarket square with views of the castle. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and kind, We arrived early and were able to get our rooms early. Rooms were very nice. Being next to grassmarket was a little louder than expected but manageable. Restaurant food was delicious and service was great."

"We recently stayed at the Market Street Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The facilities themselves are lovely, and the hotel has a beautiful overall atmosphere and location. Unfortunately, the housekeeping and maintenance standards did not match the quality the hotel presents. "Whilst I would not actively discourage anyone from staying at this hotel in Edinburgh, our recent experience was a negative one due to the significant noise experienced in the early hours of the morning as a result of the very busy restaurant and bar which is part of the hotel. This may have been outside the norm due to the world cup, however it felt like the hotel prioritised those watching the match over the hotel guests as there was no evidence of any attempt to keep the noise at a reasonable...

"Small rooms, extras are pricey"

"We came to explore Edinburgh and the location of the hotel is perfect. Next to the train station, a block to catch the tram, a couple of blocks to the hop-on-hop-off. Restaurants, museums, pubs, shops and the Royal Mile all within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are very nice with a minimalist flare. Very quiet! Bring extra hangers as the closet space is limited. There are no dressers so, plan to live out of your suitcase. The breakfast buffet cost extra but, has plenty to offer...

"The Hotel was clean, and seemed like it was a brand new establishment. Our room was very quiet and the room temperature control kept our room extremely comfortable. I loved the beautiful location and the on site restaurant. The hotel provided 24/7 coffee via very nice coffee brewers, which offered also brewed latte’s, etc. All of this was complimentary. I can highly recommend Yotel."
