"A really nice jewel in this CT coast. I found it thanks to Expedia and it didn’t disappoint. Super large king room. The property is gorgeous. Gardens and decks provide best views of the sound. A great spot for sunset"

"This place was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. It’s dirty. All furniture is all different and mismatched. The pictures on the website are deceiving nothing but a dump. Also it was not cheap."

"The staff are very welcoming. A small point but the hot water in the bathroom is just warm and takes a time to arrive...."

"Todo es muy viejo y necesita mantenimiento"

"Threadbare breakfast overcooked. Needs major overhaul pit and jokes in roads. A real mess"

"Lovely hotel. Pool was a nice perk. Tavern was out of an entree, a side, and several salads and only had 1 non-meat option for vegetarians. Parking for guests is 2 blocks away. Apparently the only staff at checkout was also the valet: that led to a big line at morning checkout. Pls hire another person to valet."

"Because the hotel would not accept my ID that I paid for the hotel because I was the secondary my girlfriend I put on top of me they didn't take my ID and then they failed to give me trespass on the property so I had to leave the property and I did not get my money back and I could not stay in the room. I would like my money back"

"Had nice clean room for our one night stay. Property appeared to be very well maintained. Would be nice to add a small coffee/hot water machine to room."

"The room was clean, and despite a small bathroom, quite large. We had no issues staying here."

"The house was beautiful! The innkeeper Amanda made an excellent breakfast and was friendly and knowledgeable about the property. The house renovations fit in with the period of the house, but provided modern convenience. It was a joy to stay there"
