"Phoned them on the Friday before we arrived asking if we needed to book a table for dinner for the night we were staying and was advised no we could just book when we checked in. Checked in on the Sunday and asked about dinner only to be told the restaurant was fully booked but they have a bar which accepts walk ins - not ideal when we had our 2 and 5 year old with us we needed to be able to guarantee we could feed! When I booked the site said ‘great for families’ - there is nothing for children...

"Great for a stopover stay. Rooms are clean and have what’s needed (and will take 4 as a teenager family). Decent breakfast. And staff are more friendly and helpful than you’d expect for a budget hotel. Decent price so happy all round."

"On arrival room wasn't ready.Had to wait nearly half an hour. Lift wasn't working so found climbing stairs difficult. Kettle blew all the fuses and had to be replaced.Room was large and bed comfortable."

"Hotel was a nice over night stay. Bar was a chilled environment and food looked nice (didn’t eat but saw a few plates). Room was a little dated, but the bed was fairly comfy. Sadly no air con so was a rather warm night but as on ground floor, didn’t fancy having the windows left open as no catch to prevent them being pushed open and entered"

"The park is nice however you have to pay for everything as extra including WiFi which even after paying was very poor. Paying for indoor swimming was also not good. There was a very pungent smell in our caravan which didn’t go away even with all windows open and bin out. Mattress is very uncomfortable. Won’t be coming back here"

"The room was comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but ok. Staff were helpful I didn't eat in so can't comment to about food. Just used the hotel as a place to sleep. Parking was very useful and seemed secure. Would stay again."

"The hotel was ok but at the time of our stay there was neither a restaurant or bar at the hotel. We had to go to a nearby hotel for food and a drink. Our room was adequate and clean ."
