"A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"I reserved my room and was told that they didn’t have any rooms available on the property upon my checking in. They had me wait for 30 mins to an hour for someone to take me to a different location. When the staff arrived, he didn’t introduce himself and just told me to follow him. As we walked out the gate, I thought they would at least provide transportation. Only for the guy to tell me that we’re walking to this undisclosed location in the night. I cancelled my booking. Very unprofessional!!"

This means loud music and drunken guests every night 365 days a year until 4am in the morning - making it impossible to fall asleep before the nightclub closes. The hotel has modern rooms.
