"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

"We rented a superior apartment which was plenty for our family of 3. As it was an adjoining room on the main apartment, we had separate bedrooms (1 king and 1 with twin beds), a fully functioning kitchen and a kitchenette in the twin room. Also 2 bathrooms with showers and a washing machine and dryer. It was very clean, easy to access and so close to lots of amenities including a cinema, restaurants and shops/supermarkets. We didn’t notice the noise from the street from our apartment. Check out...

"Second time staying at Avani Box Hill. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy check in and check out. The room was excellent for what we paid for. What attracts us most to this place is the two single beds in one room with ensuite for kids and another room for my husband and I. The gym facilities were great too. The parking is abit tight on exit but otherwise will continue to be my go to when staying in Melbourne."
