"We had a great stay at Le Richelieu. The staff were courteous and helpful; they stored our luggage when we arrived early and sent us a text to let us know the room was ready (early, before check in time). They also provided us cold bottled water several times upon returning to the hotel (it was 95 with heat indices above 105 while we were in New Orleans).
Our room was simply appointed, but perfect for us with two bedrooms so our daughter had her own bed. The suite looked out onto the courtyard pool, which we used during our stay as well to cool off. They provide towels for guests too, which was wonderful and saved us having to pack them.
The hotel was located in a quiet section of the Quarter, and I'd imagine even in high season it would be quieter than many other properties. It's convenient to both the French Quarter and Marigny/Frenchman Street. We walked practically everywhere, even in the heat.
We would absolutely stay at Le Richelieu for any return visits to New Orleans."
