"Small, noisy but comfortable rooms. Very minimal no fridge, microwave or bench/chair. Great spot to access downtown Hood River. At checking we were handed our key cards and they said have a good stay. No instructions of when pool, sauna was open. No instructions about when and where coffee was an available. We were able to take our own drinks up to the roof top because it is not open for drinks or food yet."

"The place had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals, yet it still didn’t feel clean. The bedding, carpet, and overall condition were very old, worn, and unpleasant. It felt like a rundown motel with the Best Western name attached to it."

"Historic building with creaky floors in a great downtown location. Initially I was on the third floor in a room facing the roof but I asked to move after noticing the lock was missing from the window. Access could have been gained by anyone else in a 3rd floor "rooftop garden" room. I moved to a 2nd floor room facing the railroad tracks which was noticeably noisier but I have to say the earplugs provided by the hotel do work!"

"The property was clean and beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing-above and beyond; very welcoming and helpful! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very peaceful and relaxing. And the breakfast was unbelievable-definitely not your average hotel breakfast. We loved our stay here and hope to return! "

"Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples."

"Our stay at the Irish inn was amazing. We were able to stay in the new titanic suite, which had adorable touches from old newspaper print, to white star line memorabilia, to even a violin that you can almost hear playing as if the ship was sinking. The room offered great views of mount Adam’s, and a very comfortable bed. A mini kitchenette is also available, with microwave and fridge freezer available, as well as utensils and plates/bowls to support whatever quick meals you might need. The owner...
