"Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times. Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth. Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee."

"Property was right outside downtown Bar Harbor. Great location. Very quiet area and room. Room was spacious and comfortable. Sat in bar area for a minute waiting for a table for dinner. Dinner was good and our waitress was amazing , but service was pretty slow and way too much confusion over a simple glass of wine. Overall, would stay again in nicer weather due to lots of amenities."

"My husband and I loved the Blue Nose Inn lobby. On cold, rainy days we would go in and grab some hot chocolate and work on the jigsaw puzzle in the sitting area. It was really beautiful."

"The manager was very nice and helpful. The view is very nice and on the water. The parking is plentiful. The room is kind of old. The vanity is non existent. There is no microwave. The coffeemaker was on top of the fridge. The room was clean and maintained. Smelled a little musty."

"Did not expect mattress pad warmers… really nice on cold October nights."

"We did a lot of walking while we were here. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. Great location for us. Staff were great. We felt like it was a great value for what we received. We also enjoyed the carry and go breakfast. We ended up using them as snacks after our many hikes."

"Best place to stay around Acadia. We had a great time and great view from our stay."

"Great hotel that is convenient to Acadia National Park and all the amenities of Bar Harbor. Loved the onsite restaurant for breakfast and dinner."

"From a picture, we thought we would be closer to the water. There was a little view of it. This would be a great place for families with children in the warmer months, pool, and lots of room to run around or ride bikes. This is an older hotel that has been updated. We wanted to Uber into Bar Harbor but no Ubers were in the area. Luckily we were able to find parking both evenings."

"The Manager and staff were very kind and helpful. The guests were happy and friendly. Great location, close to everything."

"The staff was very friendly."

"This is a clean well maintained hotel with a wonderful helpful staff."

"Overall, we were very pleased with the property. The bathroom looked brand-new and everything was very clean and the staff was pleasant. Our room was quiet. The breakfast consisted of boxed cereal, individually wrapped pastries, etc. As for protein, peanut butter was available to put on toast, they had a quality brand yogurt and on my last day I noticed that there was a microwaveable burrito. Not a particularly appetizing selection. Think of the breakfast as grab-and-go kind of snacks. I could...

"This is a really quaint inn just a short walk to the heart of Main Street and the village green where all the shopping and restaurants are located. The room was well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom shower curtain which didn’t stay in place. The lobby area is very cozy with sofas and reading material. Breakfast was personalized. They have two items per day and the food is prepared to order. They also have a variety of baked items that they set out for...
