"Beautifully maintained property with expansive grounds and hiking trails that cross the property and so it is brilliant for walking and dogs. The room we had was exceptional and came with a small garden which again was heaven for the dog. The stay in a place like this is always about the staff though, who were great. "I stayed in a room in the main building above the restaurant and it was loud day and night, so long as people were eating. It was if the walls were made with paper, I’m not sure anyone could get a decent rest. I came back from a long day out and wanted a quick day time nap and was woken up by noise from the restaurant. I think the inn is also under staffed. The service was horrible at the bar and restaurant. Staff was slow, we were barely tended to, and they forgot our order once. No attention...

"We never ate at the hotel it was less expensive elsewhere. Can’t complain except towels need to be renewed. Also hand soap would be nice. Room noisy in the morning because of traffic. Staff should greet customers coming in and out of hotel it’s part of your job!"
