"We booked the suite room in this family run Château. We came away without the children for a weekend of peace & quiet but the family have children and a baby, the baby cried during the day and in the evening we heard a lot of banging on the floor above our room. It’s not pleasant if you want time away from kids. "The family has been associated with the property for 3 generations, and it is a gorgeous chateau, in a small village within easy driving distance of Amiens. The setting and the room are gorgeous, and the host and hostess are warm and friendly. They gave us many recommendations about what to do in Amiens. "There was a communication issue between the hotel and Expedia, however I was offered a free upgrade to a better room. The staff were very accommodating to all my requests, the apartment was probably the best I've stayed in including a living room with kitchenette, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and rest room. There was also a balcony with table and seating. Complimentary water was provided. There was even a lazyboy recliner. We did buy some drinks from the bar, be aware that you had to take the drinks back to your room rather than drink them at the bar."
