"We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. So, most nights we decided to stay at the hotel for dinner. It would be nice if things stayed open later like the hot springs and kids club, etc. But the service was exceptional. Free laundry machines to wash your clothes and shoe dryer was a bonus! "

"We had a lovely stay. As someone traveling without children, it’s nice to have an adult pool separate from family pool. The staff are very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Although the property restaurants had some nice local options, I was disappointed with restaurant menu options throughout the area. I suppose this is an effort to cater to tourists. Italian food on every menu… I found that strange."
