We really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect spot for a getaway close to San José. The trails on the property are amazing, with waterfalls, lush landscapes, and beautiful flora all around. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our experience even better.

Xandari exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional. The grounds were also amazing. We did the waterfalls hike and that was super fun and it was a great work out. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and Irene was fricking awesome. I also loved the massage room. It was open to the rainforest with a city view. Also our room was fabulous! I highly recommend staying at the Xandari. We chose to stay there our last night because it was close to the airport and we ended up with such a treat.

If you are interested in rejuvenating yourself…Xandari is the place. The staff are very friendly and outstanding at ensuring you have all your needs met. This property makes you feel like you are secluded from the world. You must get a massage. This was our second trip and will return again.

The spa was incredible and the views are magic. The waterfalls on the property are stunning and I loved hiking the trails for 2 hours through the dense, lush jungle on a very well maintained trail. The staff were so caring, attentive and kind, everyone helped me arrange transportation, meals and activities as a solo traveller.

We enjoyed our stay at Xandari Resort. The grounds are beautiful, with some hiking trails to a small waterfall. A nice view from the restaurant and from our hotel room. The hotel room was very spacious, with a sitting area in front of glass doors showcasing the view outside. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant. The service was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. We did not enjoy the dish we chose for lunch; it compared poorly to the same dish we had in other parts of La Fortuna. The resort has a unique design, but it is in need of some updates. Even little things like trash cans that work when you press the pedal would be great; we had to actually touch the trash cans to open them. All the staff was friendly and attentive.

Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. It’s also very convenient to the San Jose airport. We loved it so much we came back at the end of our trip to stay another couple of nights!
