The property managers / reception staff (three delightful young ladies) are very welcoming, friendly, eager to help and enthusiastic to share their local knowledge. The staff alone are worth at least five stars!"

"The place is beautiful, very tidy, we were so well received that we didn't even want to leave, it is located very close to the airport, which made it very easy to get there the next day, it is a little far from the center, but if you have a car you won't have any problems, there is also public transport very close and easy to use."

"The apartment is on the edge of a small but busy town. It backs on to beautiful clean water with views of the mainland and sunrise. Two brothers and their wives look after the guests, so there’s always someone around. Rooms are very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Aircon is extra, but we didn’t need it. Zweimal war für kurze Zeit kein Wasser gekommen. Wir haben es nicht gemeldet, nach einer Zeit kam es wieder. Die Töpfe waren ziemlich abgenutzt. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich keinen Luxus. "Excellent communication and easy check in. Lovely studio room on street level, everything you could need. We stayed one night to be near the ferry port and it was perfect for that but also nice to be so close to the old town shops and restaurants for the evening as well. Would recommend and stay again. "Wer einen ruhigen, idyllischen und besonderen Ort sucht, ist in der Villa Elaia richtig. Der Ausblick ist Wahnsinn! Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und sauber. Toll war auch das Bücherregal, an dem man sich bedienen konnte. Der Weg nach Gaios ist möglich, jedoch beschwerlich (steil, Nachts ohne Beleuchtung, holprig). 1-2 Mal machbar. Auf Dauer ist jedoch ein Transportmittel sehr zu empfehlen! Die Vermieterin Evi steht jederzeit bereit für Tipps, bei Anliegen und auch für den einen oder anderen...

"It was our second stay. Everything was good. Except 3 issues. There should be more cups etc. In the kitchen available. Second issue is wifi that most of the time is very poor or doesn't work at all and it needs some upgrade. And 3rd we decided not to use swimming pool this time, because it becomes basically public swimming pool. Entire neighborhood and people who doesn't stay at Avra coming to use the pool and when we arrived dog was swimming in the pool. It was quite discouraging to use the...

"While Gouvia is not much to write home about, this hotel and some excellent restaurants in town gave us a great experience. The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff couldn't be nicer to their guests. It looks like it has been recently renovated extensively. We have found five swimming pools but wouldn't be surprised if there are more. Our room was very spacious and clean. Sheets and towels are changed every day. There is a small supermarket about a minute away from the hotel. Gouvia town...

"Die Unterkunft war alles in allem sehr gut! Und die Mitarbeitenden durch und durch freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zum Strand ist allerdings doch etwas weiter und anstrengender als erwartet. Zudem ist der Strand im Vergleich zu anderen leider nicht besonders, sodass wir wenig Zeit in Acharavi selbst verbracht haben. Auch das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Auswahl. Alles andere war jedoch top! "
