"The older lady we first encountered at the check in desk was a total grump. Thankfully when we came back a little later to check in, we got a much more pleasant lady. We stayed in one of the east rooms, which we felt were very outdated and in need of repairs , but I guess it was typical of a national park room. The hallways were dark and dreary. "The room was amazing. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. We loved our time here. The airstream is such a cute touch. We got wine here one afternoon during happy hour. We were unable to get food due to no gluten free options, but that wasn’t a big deal to us as there Are so many excellent options nearby. My only complaint was that the washer and dryer were out of order and we had really planned our packing on being able to laundry at this...

"The front desk was very courteous and check in was easy.. the u it was clean and adequate for my needs. I didn’t have a view in my unit but some have great views. Bed gave me a back ache but everyone is different in how comfortable a bed is. The unit was very quiet."

"Good size room, comfortable beds with clean linens and sheets. Noise outside the room with people slamming the doors starting early in the morning. And if you are a light sleeper the in room air conditioning kicks and out throughout the night can be annoying. But all in all we had a great stay."

"Cute boutique hotel like setting. Easy to park and get to room quickly and easily….steps away. They have a clean small gym, free continental breakfast although it doesn’t fill you up. Recommend The Coffee Pot for breakfast. Good and filling. Staff were helpful and nice. Right off 89A. Only thing I didn’t like was that first floor rooms have one window that isn’t private so we kept it closed making it feel like nighttime all the time but you had no privacy without it closed."

"The resort is very nice! However, it is located in the middle of town. Not uptown where all the local events are, but in downtown where the residence of Sedona live. Not much to do near the property or surrounding it. You have to go uptown to dine shop, eat hike. But the staff is amazing snd the property is pretty, but not much to do on the property."

"The ac in our room hardly worked. And it was hard to sleep. When we contacted the front desk, all they offered was to give us fans. And refunded our 35 resort fee. A place that charges over 600 a night I would expect better."

"On first arriving we were immediately smiling. Beautiful clean and so ZEN. I'm not just going to recommend the High Scountry - I say you must go and experience it for yourself. And if you have a doggie - definitely bring him. Would like to point out that the grounds are 100% clean and kept up. If you need some assistant from an employee....just open your door and you will see more than 1. Not one bad negative comment from us."
