"Room had signs of water damage on furniture"

"The room was very clean and spacious. This room is one that I'd be able to stay in for a few days. It has a nice comfortable chair in the room too. The staff was wonderful too"

"The entry door to our room was very dirty on the inside of the room. And the bathroom door was the same way. This property does not have an elevator. All rooms are entered from the outside. The continental breakfast was very good."

"I typically don’t care enough to write a review, I can think of better ways to spend my time. However, staying at Comfort Inn in Shelby morphed into an ultimately laughable experience. The property was in complete shambles, construction everywhere with dry wall pieces down the hallway, and the elevator lined in foam board. Our room was filthy-the microwave was never cleaned, the fridge wasn’t cleaned, floors weren’t swept, whatever, but when I went to take a shower, I couldn’t ignore the hair...

"This is a long term stay hotel. There were no amenities in the room, there is no lobby to visit. The linens were clean, but old."

"Dirty and smelly"

"Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!"

"The online pictures are not of this hotel."

"My hubby and parents are so grateful. This place was awesome. So clean and perfect for weekend stay to see family. Will do my best to book again if I get to come back up and see family .perfect place to stay. Clean thanks for allowing us to rent the property. B blessed"

"This was an amazing place. The house was very clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. The shower was awesome. The view around the property couldn’t have been better. The host was very nice and his wife made some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. There is a couple of small restaurants that are very good close by and an assortment of chain restaurants within a 30 minute drive. I will definitely be staying here again soon."
