"We enjoyed our stay at the Soco hotel, but there are a few things to take in consideration depending on people’s preferences. It is a very small boutique hotel, that being said there is no entertainment at night and the only bar at the hotel closes at 10:30PM, however they stopped serving at 10:15PM. The clientele is definitely older so that’s something to keep in mind if you are a younger couple. It is a very romantic and quiet hotel. Rooms all have beautiful ocean views, a bit dated, but they are big and spacious. Food is excellent, all meals à la carte which is great for not wasting or overeating. Some of the staff were amazing especially Shane at the bar, but some were nonchalant, a bit dismissive and rude. The beach is stunning, however there is not a lot of space for the beach chairs and they are pretty close together, but you can just walk to other beaches if bothered by it. There’s a nice boardwalk that brings you to other restaurants and beaches which is amazing. Wifi wasn’t great, I’d recommend of getting an ESIM if you need to stay connected or do some work. Check out is at noon and there are no showers in the lobby so if you have a late flight that can be a nuisance, however we were able to get lunch before leaving. Overall we had a great time and weather was amazing so that’s all that mattered!"

"The hotel and staff are great. Food is amazing and good value for money! It's card only. Room is cleaned everyday and is air-conditioned. Location is perfect for seeing the island, it has a bus stop right outside and is only bbd 3.50 (£1.50) no matter how far you go! The pool and beach are great. No complaints at all. I will definitely be coming back to stay"

"The staff was super nice. My only issue was I requested a room with a king sized bed and what I got was 2 twin beds pushed together. The top mattress was not a king and it was incredibly uncomfortable. I didn’t have 1 good night of sleep."

"Beach is off to the side of property. The water was very rough while I was there. Our room needs a new mattress, it was totally broke down with a heavy foam pad thrown on top. We were in a kitchenette with a coffee pot but no filters, no paper towel and no dish soap. Our room had the bed made and fresh towels every other day. No beach towels. Over all it was just ok. I would not return I’d fine a different place to stay."

"On the first day of check in it was beautiful the receptionist was excellent my room was on the third floor the view was amazing the breakfast and dinner was very good we had a welcome drink the two waitress was excellent 👍 service my gold member status was recognized immediately didn't had to say it love the location close to all the restaurants in St.lawrence gap and the beach we had a vehicle the hotel had parking which was great overall my stay my beautiful wonderful 😀 much thanks to all the lovely workers at south gap hotel much appreciated."

"pool not much bigger than household tub i.e. forget about pool. was not able to go into beach due to red flag i.e. no beach no pool, LOL room was hot on arrival not even 1 complementary water bottle is offered to the guest, denied a water bottle even when requested."
