"Great hotel, great bar & restaurant"

"Probably the dirtiest Hotel I've ever stayed at. Dead flies next to the breakfast food. Stains on all the carpets. Wedding noise until mid night."

Old fashioned( not as in a designed way). No usb ports. Bathroom needed a complete overhaul or at least a deep clean- there is no excuse for mould on grout or silicone nowadays- gave the whole place a grubby feel. "Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable "

"Really nicely appointed hotel and very comfortable. There is plenty of parking You are offered a good choice for breakfast and it is very reasonable. Downside, it does not do evening meals so you have to make alternative arrangements. Fortunately there are quite a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Great that you can take your dog but they are not allowed in the large breakfast room and you are seated in the lounge on a sofa with a coffee table. Bizarrely the reason given is...

"The property cancelled the booking on the day in the evening. I was told I would get another booking at not extra cost. This did not happen. Awful experience this time through Expedia with OYO. Disrupted my day at work trying to sort out the booking and speak to numerous people on the phone for a long time. Frustrating to waste so much of my time on a Saturday at work - to no avail and no room at the end of all that..!"

"the bar was very poorly stocked.problem with the cellar.there was only 1 craft beer on friday and none on saturday.the breakfast and meal staff were very helpful.i wish there had been a walk-in shower with having mobility issues."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

For the reception you want to navigate to the South entrance on Landcroft Lane and then take the first left. "Nice rooms over the pub. No AC so hot in late June. Some noise from the pub garden area but fine after 11 pm. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice outdoor eating/drinking area."
