"The hotel is beautiful including all the flower gardens around the grounds and the staff were all very helpful and responsive. We loved the high tea and soaking in the hot tub in the afternoon. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely but we did have to wait awhile to get in. No one let us know we’d need a reservation on a Sunday morning. We appreciated the speedy service once we were inside and let them know we n the fed to catch the morning ferry. "

"Pros- Fantastic location. Older & dated hotel. Reminded us of old apartments that may have been converted. Great staff, clean & amenities good like pool & hot tub, pool table, shuffle board, library with board games. Cons- No Air Conditioning Would stay again- yes. Can forgive a/c for location & price. As we are getting warmer summers, the property should think about that upgrade."

"Chateau Victoria, don’t be fool by the name. It is close to all the action, walking distance but beside that there is plenty of other option. Room very out dated, no AC beside the small one in the bedroom. Was 30c when we were there this week and was cool in the small bedroom but the rest of the unit was very hot. I requested a king bed room but somehow ended up with a queen bed room. Very disappointing hotel for the cost. Would not recommande."

"Property is in a beautiful location with amazing morning sun. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Property was very clean and upscale. Would 100% stay here again. Only downside was in out kitchen unit counterspace was limited."

"We stayed in a king suite fr 6 nights..requested a 15-20 min late checkout, which was denied and were asked fr a 10 min checkout no later than 10 min past 12:00 PM. I travel alot and its very common to checkin early or checkout late. 15 -20 mins is no big deal.. but the staff never bothered about it.."
