"Great location and a very clean room. The staff, from check-in to check-out, were extremely courteous and helpful. Umbrellas were thoughtfully provided in convenient locations throughout the property, which was especially helpful during the sudden downpours we experienced on a couple of days. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were conveniently located, making it easy to get around either by walking or using the golf carts, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay."

"The room we stayed in was a bit small, but made up for it with a beautiful balcony kitchenette. My children loved seeing animals everywhere, from coatis to iguanas to monkeys. Food prices at the hotel retauraunts were higher than anticipated however, and there weren't any grab and go options for drinks or snacks at reception."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Tulemar in the 1 bedroom villa. The property is incredible with the immersion in the jungle. We enjoyed our patio and seeing sloths and monkeys daily! The shuttle service on property was great to get us around to the beach, restaurants and front entry. The concierge service is incredible, Jorge was so wonderful answering questions leading up to the trip, and during to help in any way he could. "Fabulous location, walking distance to MA nature reserve. Carlos gave great tips on where to see wildlife around the beach. Breakfast was lovely, everything about the hotel was perfect."

"It felt like a roadside motel. The food at the attached restaurant is good. Breakfast was included daily, which was nice but the options got really redundant by the 3rd or 4th day. The common areas were clean until the last two days when a large group checked in. Our final morning the common areas were littered with trash and belongings everywhere. The rooms are oddly shaped with no storage areas and have the strangest echos. You have to leave your key for housekeeping to service them. Close...

"Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich super. Direkt neben dem Eingang zum National Park und nur wenige Minuten entfernt vom Strand und vielen Restaurants. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Aussicht wird erst ab der fünften Etage schön. Darunter kann man das Meer noch nicht sehen. "The views from Mountain Top are incredible. We could see monkeys, toucans, macaws and more from our balcony and the hotel's restaurant. It's so close to the national park but has its own jungle on site. Jose, the hotel's wildlife guide, was fab - he took us on two guided tours and wad always excited to spot animals and tell us more about them. Would definitely recommend this hotel if travelling to Manuel Antonio and try to book the ocean view if you can"
