Easily one of my best hotel experiences. My wife and i are local and just wanted a day/night without the kids and we absolutely loved it. We are going to make it a semi regularly thing. "Had a truly lovely stay at the Trevelyan in Douglas - received a lovely welcome from Delia upon arrival; had a promenade / beachfront view from my 3rd floor room. Comfortable bed. No problems at all with the shared bathroom facilities either. What I would suggest though, is for basic tea/coffee facilities being provided to guests - either directly in their rooms, or at a central location (for example, in the common area on the ground floor). Thank very much once again !"

"The room was clean, however the sink was badly cracked and needed replacing. The furnishings in the room were fit for purpose, albeit very dated. I also found the room to be quite noisy - being able to hear showers running, toilets flushing etc from nearby rooms, early morning and during the night. I had a room at the back of the hotel and only had a view of other buildings. However, the rooms at the front including the sitting area, bar and restaurant had great views over the bay.
