Easy walk through park to centre or via road, bus stops up a steep walkway for the able people or round road for others, ( I managed slop with a crutch) ."

"Unfortunately this beautiful hotel is going into disrepair and needs renovations. Breakfast was average. Above all, they need to pay for cleaning as almost every corridor needs cleaning. Room was small but sadly not clean! I rather not to look at the radiator as it was full of cog-webs, spots, .. I love the location and the communal areas and live music. I always come back only for the good atmosphere."

"Amazing stay. Staff at the reception and breakfast was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options. We managed to get a room with a seaview. Room was cosy with a little sofa, wifi was fast and TV was operating as it should. Bathroom and the room were clean. Air con worked with no issues. Would definitely recommend."

"Its a bit tired but fine. Nice big room and comfortable bed. View over the carpark sadly with a noisy fan or generator or something directly below so couldn't open windows due to the noise, that would be an issue in the summer i expect and wont be a problem for all the rooms. About a 15 min walk to the station or to town. Wish I'd booked direct as expedia was almost double their onsite price"

"Worst sleep ever in a very old bed. Rooms need updating as does the tired looking hotel. Luckily it wasn’t peak season as this hotel isn’t worth the money you’ll pay. "

"We stayed here last year and had a very pleasant stay , so booked again. The staff were very nice and the room , although a little basic was comfortable , even though the Tv would'nt work properly. We had a meal there again as last time it was very good , with a full menu , good service and reasonable prices. However this time we were dissappointed as we booked an early table at 6.15 and were then told they had run out of Steak already . My husband ordered the burger but the chips weren't good...
