"This hotel has the potential to be a brilliant place to stay but it needs a serious refurb in its current state. Arriving, the entrance and lobby were well maintained and nicely decorated however, entering the first floor you notice the office like false ceiling. This continues through the corridors and into the rooms. Loosing roughly 18 inches of ceiling height makes the rooms feel much smaller and gives quite a cheap characterless feel to the room. "The hotel is not staffed properly. A makeshift reception not manned all the time. No facilities such as bar, restaurant, pool etc. All facilities are at the sister Hotel down the road. The room was 30 degrees plus and no air conditioning. Two pathetic fans offered virtually no air movement. This place is just a room and not as advertised. "Booked daughter's bday for lovely experience but was a joke! Premier inns and caravan holidays better food and service. Food was shocking!! If you stay in hotel eat else where! £20 per person for a manky "buffet" people were eating soup cos it that bad. There were no menus There dinner pics online are AI as did not av Yorkshire pudding, no mash, no cauliflower, no chicken or meat apart ham sliced dry beef. "Great staff, location and refurbishment. Food, drink, garden and leisure facilities excellent and the whole team couldn't be more helpful. Useful perks like free water, good tea and coffee tray, an actual bath and £5 off you don't have your room cleaned to spend on food or drink. Can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!"

"Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful proper service with a smile and all very engaging. Fabulous view of the sea and a gorgeous pool. My only criticism was filling the kettle in the modern sink difficult !"

"Arrived and were met by helpful staff at reception, shown to our room which seemed okay but the bathroom wasn’t very clean with hairs in our bath. The pool was warm and clean but the loungers did not look inviting. Decided to use the beach for our two days. Breakfast had a limited choice and was acceptable although the first batch of cutlery we picked up were dirty which again put me off. "Lovely hotel. No complaints! Location is good, be warned it is on a hill, parking is excellent and safe under the hotel. Reception and lobby was clean and spacious. Dining area was ample food for breakfast was really lovely. Waffles were exceptional 😋 Lots of food and drink variety plus really fresh also kept lovely and tidy. Bedroom we booked was standard double, and for 2 nights it was great. Quiet room no complaints. Shower was good... What is not to like about the Hampton by Hilton!"

"Serious group system issue meant my confirmed booking was not received at the hotel and I had to find somewhere else. Arrived at 6pm. Several people waiting to check in. One person on reception. No booking for me, despite messages from the hotel. Over an hour and a half later confirmed there would be no room for me. I asked to pay for a room. Offered a room in the sister East Cliff hotel which was hot and grotty. Will avoid the OYO name in future."

"We had a very small room inland snug but unfortunately in the heat the small fan given to us was inadequate to cool the room. We had dinner in the Jetty which was fabulous down by the waters edge with.a delicious prawn spaghetti and cod with crab.served by a very helpful young lady who was rushed off her feet.
