"we got off the train form Colombo & showed our booking paper to our Tuk-tuk driver. He rang to get instructions as to how to find them, only to be told it was CLOSED!!!! Woopsie, but luckily he knew somewhere."

"The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! "

"This is a lovely resort with a nice pool and immediate beach accces. The restaurants are really great and breakfast is varied and filling. The room was slightly dated but clean with a nice view of the sea and resort. You can also quite easily walk around the area but everything you need is within the resort."
