One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at (and we travel a lot!). Definitely recommend the room with the private plunge pool (which includes your own personal butler). INCREDIBLE view to wake up to in the morning and you won't regret it! Also the restaurant is so good, we ate every single meal there and couldn't get enough of the food. They made excellent local Sri Lankan dishes with so much flavor and spa. Spa services were also excellent! We will definitely be coming back!

This is a unique property. Much appreciated the serene and unhurried atmosphere. Very quiet property, the sound of the waves is the background music and ocean breeze is very nice. Staff were nice and professional. Great please to disconnect and leave your devices in the room.

Fantastic retreat with all you ever wished for!

Amazing retreat with all the luxury and charm you've ever looked for. Private modern bungalows with "outside" bathroom and all other amenities you seek. Location is one of the best I've ever seen on top of a small cliff on the beach overlooking the ocean on three sides. The infinity pool is just amazing! Service is great, as well as food, spa and staff friendliness. Definitely the best place to stay in Sri Lanka.

An exceptional hotel

First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon and will be sure to include Saman Villas in our stay.

Villa exceptionnelle de luxe avec butler a disposition, Dilhara, qui était adorable. La piscine est immense et la vue...la piscine privée à tomber. Je vous conseille le petit-déjeuner flottant dans la piscine, cest juste merveilleux ! L'environnement est très apaisant et relaxant. Un moment suspendu ... Le dîner est vraiment exceptionnel avec musique douce...un plaisir a apprécier à chaque moment. Qualité exceptionnelle !

- Access: 1.5 - 2.0 hours by taxi from Bandaranaike International Airport. - Climate: Dry season, 25 - 30°C and comfortable ocean winds. - Appearance of the hotel: Graceful, sophisticated design that integrates the local arts, culture and plants with a Western, modern style. - Staff: Gentle, modest and professional. When we got in a few troubles, they always supported us so quickly. - Restaurant: We enjoyed and loved the various kinds of local food, cookings and beverages with beautiful scenery of Indian ocean and the marvelous sunset. Some Western / other Asian countries' cookings are also served so that we were not tired and enjoyed every meal for the all 4 nights. There are special locations that filled our five senses and gave a special dinner, a special night. - Facility: Swimming in the large pool on the hill where the Indian ocean and long beach can be seen impressed and comforted us the most in our lives. We also could rest on the beach chairs, seeing the ocean and hearing the waves.

何もかもパーフェクトでした！絶対にまた泊まりたい！　ウェルカム体制もとても気持ちよく、バスタブは屋外ですが、囲ってあるので気兼ねなく入れます。また壁をつたってリスが遊びに来ます◎　朝食の場所は部屋のバルコニーとレストランを選べて、もちろんバルコニーにしてプライベートを充実に海を見ながらゆっくり過ごせました。

Saman Villa is very well situated as you have long stretches of beach towards the north and south of the hotel for you to walk on The suite that we were in had spectacular view of the northern beach. We could see the lighthouse and Bentota town in the distance. There was a beautiful terrace where we had breakfast on the first morning. Service was impeccable as staff was friendly and helpful. They look after all of our needs. The bed was very comfortable and we simply loved the open shower and the huge bath tub in the en-suite washroom. We only had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and we would highly recommend the Sri Lankan special where we had authentic Sri Lanka cuisine such as the porridge which you take with palm sugar and the egg hoppers. Service was impeccable from the FnB team as they are very friendly and efficient. Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay there and will definitely recommend everyone to stay here. Ask for Indika for your guide; he arranges very interesting day trips for you during your stay.

Only stayed one night on the way to Galle but could have stayed longer. Great location on super beach. Good food and service. Room nice but a bit basic for what one pays. Love the outdoor bathroom, though. Overall, very pleasant place and stay.

Splendid Ocean Views

We upgraded to a room with a private pool. Room was great and had a large outdoor bathroom. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Lovely views from our pool. Easy walk to beach and we were able to swim in the sea.
